My journey began with an incredibly rigorous residency at Grant Medical College in Mumbai, a place that taught me the true meaning of resilience and surgical precision. The volume, the complexity, the pace — it forged a steadiness under pressure that has never left my hands.

Professor Pitanguy taught me that true beauty is found in harmony and a deep respect for the poetry of the human form. His philosophy became mine: that the surgeon’s role is not to impose an ideal, but to reveal the inherent beauty already present in each patient.

Throughout my thirty years in this field, I have been privileged to serve in many roles — from Professor at Grant Medical College and MBRU to my current position as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and Medical Director at Kaya.

My Masters in International Health Systems was a personal commitment to understanding the diverse needs of the people I serve, allowing me to provide patient-centric, culturally sensitive care across communities and continents.

Outside the clinic, I find peace as an accomplished painter, having shared my work in several exhibitions. Art is not separate from my practice — it is inseparable from it.

This dual perspective — the precision of science and the sensitivity of art — is what I believe separates truly excellent results from merely technically correct ones. Every face, every form, has its own composition and its own poetry. My role is to honor it.

It has been a joy to mentor young surgeons over the years, many of whom are now successful specialists in their own right. There is something deeply fulfilling about watching a technique you have refined over decades take root in another pair of hands.

Experience is not simply a number of years — it is the accumulation of thousands of decisions, thousands of moments of careful judgment, and thousands of patients whose trust has been met with the very best I can offer.

I believe in a “Life Well Lived.” As a long-distance runner and high-altitude trekker, I try to embody the vitality and resilience I advocate for. My simple goal is to help you remain vibrant and high-performing, feeling like the very best version of yourself at every stage of life.
